If you’ve been reading my blog for long now or follow me on Twitter, then you already know that I absolutely LOVE to run. That’s why when I heard that the great people over at #RunChat had this challenge, I knew I had to participate. So, just what was the challenge?

“The challenge is simple: make a list of 5-10 things you love about running. Blog about it and then post a link in our comments“.
That, I can certainly do!
Here’s my list of things that I love about running.
1. I love that I can head out on a run feeling completely frustrated, angry, or down and come back feeling completely better.
2. I love the feeling of satisfaction running gives me when I finish a race.
4. I love the camaraderie within the running community, especially during races!
5. I love the sense of complete freedom I have when I head out on a solo run around my neighborhood.
Oh, and just in case you are a runner and don’t know about #RunChat – it’s a chat that takes place on Twitter on the 2nd and fourth Sunday of each month at 8 P.M. ET. They are a lot of fun and a great way to connect with fellow runners!

Running for me, I’ve found, is a huge confidence booster. I keep proving that I can do this and it’s such an amazing feeling! It’s also free therapy 🙂 haha
