Weight Loss Update!

I had planned to update you on this yesterday, but I just didn’t get around to it. We have now officially been on our low-carb diet for one week! It has been a week of eating a lot more veggies and washing A LOT more dishes than I’m used to.

The veggie part is one of the best things about this new diet. It really makes me realize just how few vegetables we were actually eating before. It really was pretty sad. I’ve especially enjoyed all of the salads we’ve had.

Getting healthy and losing weight are the main reasons we are doing this diet, and we are off to a good start!

I am happy to report that my husband, Gary, is down six pounds! Not bad for one week!

As for me, I have lost 3 pounds. Less than my hubby, but men do tend to lose weight faster than women. Not fair!

Of course, I do realize that these are probably just the usual water weight loss pounds, but we are still pretty happy!

My jeans seem to be slightly less tight, but we have a little “weigh” to go. 🙂
