After trying many, many different facial moisturizers, I think that I have finally found one that helps to combat my dry skin. The Olay Total Effects Mature Skin Therapy is marketed to women going through menopause, but my 34 year old skin is loving this product.
I have tried some of the other Olay facial moisturizers, but they didn’t provide enough moisture for my skin. That includes the Regenerist Deep Hydration Regenerating Cream, which was not deeply hydrating enough for me.
According to Olay’s website, the Total Effects Mature Skin Therapy intensely moisturizes to counteract the accelerated signs of aging during menopause. It also contains vitamins, antioxidants, soy and ginger.
This product which claims to intensely hydrate actually does what it says- intensely hydrates my dry skin. It has helped to even out my skin tone, and has slightly minimized the appearance of fine lines on my forehead.
I’m glad that I didn’t let the name of this product stop me from buying it. That is one thing that I have learned over the years. Just because a product is marketed to a certain age group doesn’t mean that it will work for them, or not work for someone of a different age group. That is just a good marketing strategy for companies.
The most important thing is whether a product works for you, regardless of who it is marketed to. This product combined with the Olay Total Effects Nourishing Cream Cleanser has really saved my dry skin.
