I mentioned last Saturday that I had a fun giveaway for my Dallas area readers coming up this week, and here it is! I was contacted last week by a super nice rep. from Color in Motion 5k who kindly offered to give away two coupon codes for free registration to the Color in Motion 5k race taking place on November 17, 2012 in Dallas.
These Color in Motion 5k’s take place all across the country, and there is one thing that makes them different from other 5k’s. Color! Lots and lots of color!
How does it work? You show up on race day and as you run, walk, crawl or skip your way through the course, you and your fellow runners will be showered in loads of bright color.
According to their website, the color and dye is 100% safe and basically made of food grade cornstarch. That being said, I’m pretty sure that is probably one of those rainbows you won’t want to taste. 😉

I believe that the race swag is supposed to include a Color in Motion 5k shirt, bracelet and packet of color. The packet of color can be thrown during the race, but they recommend saving it for the post-race party.
