Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) container of strawberries (preferably organic)
  • 1 large jalapeno, ribs and seeds removed if desired, minced
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp fine sea salt (or salt to taste)
  • 1 tbsp white balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  • Place into a large bowl and mix to combine. Allow 30 minutes to give the flavors a chance to marry before serving. Check seasonings and adjust if necessary. Store leftovers in an air-tight container for up to 3 days.

Notes

If strawberries are really tart, you might try adding a little honey.
