Jalapeno and Lime Tuna Salad

  • 2 (5 oz) cans of tuna (in water), drained
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 stalk of celery , finely chopped
  • 1 large jalapeno , finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup dill relish , drained
  • 2 tsp dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 5 tbsp mayo
  • 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • Sea salt and black pepper , to taste


  • In a small bowl, mix the mayo, lime juice, dijon mustard, cayenne and garlic powder together.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, add the tuna and flake it with a fork. Add the jalapeno, celery, red onion and dill relish. Add the dressing and gently mix until well combined. Refrigerate for a few hours to let the flavors marry, then serve.
