I read about the Shu Uemura eyelash curler in a magazine a few years go, and purchased one for myself on a trip to Sephora ( no longer sold there). It has been on InStyle magazine’s list of best beauty buys for several years, and is a favorite of makeup artists.
I don’t always agree with their beauty picks, but they are right on the money with this one.
If you have never used an eyelash curler, you haven’t realized yet just what this little tool will do for you. It really opens up the eyes and enhances your overall look. It’s really good for those days where you only had four hours of sleep, and need something to help you at least look wide awake.
Nervous about using an eyelash curler? I was too the first time I used one. I kept remembering this article where Christie Brinkley said that she pulled out all of her eyelashes the first time she used one! They really are easy to use though if you are careful.
The curved angle of the Shu Uemura eyelash curler is what makes it so perfect and easy to use. According to their website, it is supposed to suit any eye shape. Ergonomic handles also help with the ease of use.
Shu Uemura products are no longer available at retail locations here in the United States, but they can purchased through the company website. I’m sure that you can probably find them on Amazon and Ebay too though.
