I am not a fan of most of the drugstore eye shadows on the market. They never seem to have enough pigment or staying power as some of the higher end ones.
A long time ago, I had a Max Factor eye shadow in a shade that was perfect for making my brown eyes pop, but sadly it was discontinued. It went away like many of my other favorite products over the years. Quick question: Why is it that when you finally find the perfect product that you have been searching for all of your life, they discontinue it?
The one drugstore eye shadow that I have found to be of decent quality is a product by Revlon. The Colorstay 12 hour eye shadows come packaged with four color coordinated shades per case. They are well pigmented, and the staying power is very good.
I haven’t really had any problems with creasing, even after several hours of wear. Although, that could be partly due to my eye shadow base that I use. For the money, I would say that these are the best drugstore eye shadows on the market. I own three of them myself, and am happy with each one of them.
