Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week! Did it fly by for you too? I’ve seen several bloggers doing “things I’m loving right now” type posts, so today I thought I would share one of my own. Let’s just jump right into it!
My husband bought some at Whole Foods a few years ago, and I thought it looked disgusting, so I never tried it. When I began reading more Traditional Food and Paleo blogs, I started seeing everyone talk about how good it was. I decided to give it a try, and now I am a huge fan! I like the light carbonation, and it really does seem to help aid in digestion (it’s a probiotic). My favorite flavors are the Cosmic Cranberry and Guava Goddess. My husband likes a few different flavors. They are a bit pricey (anywhere from $2.99 to $3.49 depending on the store), so I try to get them when they have a good sale price on them.New Running Route
I recently decided to do a little “exploring” when I was out running recently and stumbled upon a park with a jogging trail. This Hike & Bike trail is only two miles long out and back, but it surrounds a neighborhood which has nice wide sidewalks, so I can tack on an extra mile or two that way for my shorter runs. Since it is within running distance from my house, I can also use it to add extra miles for my longer runs. Win Win!

Downy UNSTOPABLES
When I started making my own laundry detergent, I missed the nice fragrance that regular detergent gave the clothes, so I decided to get a in-wash scent booster. I tried the Purex Crystals first because they were cheaper than the Downy ones, but I recently found the Downy on sale for less than the Purex, so I decided to get it instead. I like how it gives my laundry a nice scent, and it even makes my stinky workout clothes smell totally fresh!
Bela Sardines
I know what your thinking. Sardines? Really? Yes, sardines, really. But these aren’t your nasty, super fishy flavored sardines. These are lightly smoked and don’t have that overly fishy flavor. They have four varieties, but the lemon flavored EVOO one is my favorite, with the cayenne one coming in second. I get mine at Whole Foods, but I read somewhere that they were also available at Trader Joe’s. I haven’t personally seen them there though. They are great for snacks and packed with potassium, iron, protein and Vitamin D.

Everyone talks about Kombucha but I’ve never tried it! I think, like you, I am afraid to try it. But next time I see a bottle ($2.99 isn’t bad!) I’ll pick it up and give it a try. If it’s as good for you as everyone says it is, it definitely seems like it’s worth a shot 🙂

I haven’t tried kombucha yet but I do use coconut water. Sardines are so healthy and are supposed to be a much more ecological catch than many kinds of fish. I have seen them at Trader Joe’s but haven’t tried them. Nice to know that they are lightly smoked and yummy.
